' Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co.* Ltd., have received the following advice- from their London House, Messrs Sanderson. Murray and Co., under date London, Ist December, 1911: — Wool -. The sixth and last series of colonial wool sales for the current year opened on the 28th November. There was a very large attendance of buyers, and spirited competition. Compared Avith the closing rates of the previous sales, prices for merino avools show no material cliange, except iv the case of short and faulty scoureds, Avhicti have adA-anced 5 per cent. Pine and medium crossbreds m grease are from par to 5 per cent, above last sales' raves, while coarse sorts are firmj without change. . All sliped and scoured descriptions of crossbreds slioav no change from last sales' quotations. The total quantity for the series, after deducting the number of bales forwarded' direct, nnd adding the number of bales held over from last series, amounts to about 158,G03 bales. /
