The batfle^lasted 24 hours, and it is reported that half the Italians Avere killed. LONDON, January 2A despatch from Tunis states that two unprejudiced correspondents attached to the Turkish army describe Italy's struggle against .Turkey as hopeless. The Turks and: Arabs, it is said, have sufficient ammunition to last two years. After a four days' march across the Libyan Desert, 2000 trained Avarriors from Fez have arrived m Tunis, bringing, an ample supply of provisions. The correspondents also state that the successful invasion of the interior of Tripoli by Italy is impossible. The aviators attached to' the Italian army m Tripoli, who have been reconnoitring the position of the enemy, report that the Turks and Arabs are concentrating m great force south of Ainzara.
