The demand is only moderate. .Chickens, Homo 8d to 10id per lb, Russian 8u to 9£d; ducklings, Home 9d, Russian 7d; turkeys, Franeh 9d to lOd, Continental 8d to 9d. The bacon market is firm, with hiore enquiry. Sides, Irish 15s to 59s per cwt, Continental 42s Ho 545, Canadian 48s to 545; hams, Irish 80s to 112s, English 84s to 102s, Canadian 56s to 665, American 1 50s to 58s. - The market for Hams is quiet but steady.
