Zealandia's the flower of her daughters, The youngest and fairest of all; Our home's far, away o'er the waters, But with her we stand or we -fall. Australia's- oiir dutiful sister, ■ ' The land of tho fleece and tho gold, Whose lancers have marched to assist her On Soudan's plains or Afric's rocky mold; Canada's snows have not frozen The warmth of her sons' crimson tide; Her flag with Newfoundland's interwoven, In Britain's wars shall flutter "side by side. And India's the homo of a maiden, With eyes of the diamond and pearl, And robings of glory; and laden With Nature's gifts, for nature loves her well ; Her brothers have tasted tho battle, Havo stormed, with our Highlanders true, Have charged in the face of cannons' rattle, Ahd honored the Red, White and Blue. Orangia :At -Uine_\ has been naughty, Has stood with her back to tho wall; And Transvaal, alas! has been haughty . And caused much concern to us all;* But • like mother whose children may .wander, Allured by the tempter's decoy, Returning, her lnother heart grqws fonder, Forgets the past in fulness of jov.
