Co's Haupiri left again last, evening for the Coast, and is expected to reach Napier on Monday night or Tuesday morning with wool. After transhipping to the s.s. Nerehana the Haupiri proceeds to Auckland via Coast ports, being timed to leave Gisborne on. Wednesday. Messrs Richardson and Co's Ripple left last night, .for Wellington, via the coast. The Kaiapoi Shipping Co's Kairaki arrived early this morning from Kaiapoi and Lyttelton with a quantity of grass- seed, potatoes, and general. She leaves to-night for Kaiapoi with 90 head of. cattle and 500 sheep. Tlie Union S.S. Co's Squall arrived from Auckland, via Limestone island, at 5.45 a.m. to-day. Shte left Auckland On the 15th inst at 9.30 p.m., and arrived at Limestone the following day,' sailing again at 11 aTm„ East Cape was passed at'7 p.m., and arrival made -at Tolaga Bay. at 12.30 a.m. After landing mails the voyage' wns resumed, arriving at Gisborne*. as above.' Westerly winds, accompanied by n moderate to smooth sea, were experienced.
