SOUGHT
(From our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day, Mr Jennings yesterday afternoon gave notice to ask the Minister for Public Works whether he will encourage local bodies m adopting. the Edison system of electrical tratttibn *iv districts where railways would be too costly to construct, by holding out special consideration m the way of subsidips towards the construction of those light train lines.
