Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Napier, report — We beg to" report having held our periodical oddment sale to-day (March 17), when we offered about 85 bal^H' rif wool, 400 skins, a number of hides, and a quantity of tallow. There was only' a- moderate attendance of buyers. Competition for wool was -Jceen, but there was poor" competition for skins, a large portion of our catalogue offered being passed m. The prices m wool showed ,an advance of from id to id on last sale prices. We quote the following prjqes :— Woolr— Greasy x-bred 74d to 8d dead '7<l .t& Bd, crut<!hings to SJU, Ist piece.« to 6Jd, locks 3d to 33d, lambs 6£d to 7d. Skins — x-bred skins 4d.to 6|d, inferior damaged skins 3d to 4d. Hides— Ox 5 -.6-fJt-h to 61<1. Tallow — Station tjillow to 2id. Our next sale is put down for 14th April, 1911.
