NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT 1. The Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Gisborne have made application under the provisions of "The Tramways Act 1908" to the Cook County Council for the grant of: a license to lay down, construct, and maintain a private tramway from the Gisborne Borough Council's Quarry at "Gentle Annie," Patutahi, to Gisborne. 2. .Tho Roads proposed to be crossed by such Tramway ore the direct main Road from the Quarry passing through the Wairoa Road and Matawhero, and joining at Gisborne with Lytton Road. 3. A plan of the proposed Tramway is deposited at the Office of the Cook County Council, Childers road, where the same may be inspected by any person interested free of charge. 4. The Cook County Council will consider this Application and any objection thereto at its meeting on the 21st dav of October,, 1910, at the hour of 2 o'clock in tho afternoon. J. WARREN, County Clerk.
