"telephone communication may now be hnd with Wairoa from 7 a.m. till 11 p.m. on week days; from 8.30 a.m. till 9.30 a.m. ami from 4 p.m. till 5 p.m. on Sundays; nnd from 8 n.m. till 10 p.m. on liolidnys. The charges are threepence Jfcr minute (with a minimum of ninepence) from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m., but nt other hours half the above rates. Telephone communication may now be had with Nnpier through the Gisborne Exchange from 7 a.m. till 11 p.m. on week days, Sundays, or holidays ; • and from Mr Stewart's (lineman) residence, Kaiti, any hour. The charges are sixpence per minute (with a minimum of ls 6d), from 8 n;iii. till 8 p.im, but nt other hours half the above rates.
