VANDALISM IN AUCKLAND.
,-,■ (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, tlu>i,.day. An extraordinary act of vandalism was pferpetrated at Albert Park during last night. Eleven handsome vases and two small pieces of statuary hav c been knockfed from their pedestals, and were found lying on the ground. Four vases are more or less damaged. The others are Hardly damaged. The ornament* were part of the valuable Boyd 'bequest. It is impossible to conceive the object, of the act. It was presumably the result of a drunken freak.
