(To the Editor of the Herald. J Sir,— lt may surprise "Pro boho publieo" to learn that there Is » Hotti- ' cultural Society m Gisborne, and that we were having flower shows 30 years ago. On the death of M r Bdntley , wljo was a great enthusiast* the Society .lapsed, but was revived 7 or 8 years afeo when several successful shows were heidj until, owing to want of rfupport from llie '• public, they had to be given up.
