AUCKLAND, last night. There has been some anxiety at Onchunga for two days past concerning the disappearance of Miss Oiven Ferguson from her parents' home., On Wednesday. ,night . Miss Ferguson went to bed at about 10 o'clock, but nexl morning she was., not;, m the, house. An alarm clock m her room had been set for 12.30. and a- note- written by. her was found m the kitchen. This , note- contained the news that she would return home , at 5.30 vpsterdav morning, ,. tinless something happened. Fears are entertained ■ : for her safety, and the police have been .searching. She has not, yet returned homo, and up to a late, hour to-night nothing more had been,' heard of her.
