There was a, large attendance at His Majesty's Theatre last evening when the new programme of Pathe -picture's was shown.' The historical Shakespearian drama Richard 111. was a fin© film, the parts' being poweriulljf actpd, and the various scenes realistically depicted. The military drama' ''For Her Sake" also received much applause, as did. "The Ugly Girl." A jbeautifully drama entitled "The,, Faithless Lover" was also shown. ''Conquering the Jangfrau" took the audience pictorially for a majignificenfc trip through the Swiss Alps, and showed the Jang fau railway, the ascent to Guaggi Hiit, watching a sunrise, amidst the scrags of the Gugge glacier, crossing over ice falls, avalanches/ ice caves, and sefrags. Olimbing to the summit, a height of 13,670 feet, a colored scenic film snowed life on the banks of the Ganges. "Brittany Lasses" was also a fine picture. The comic films caused much amusement, and. included the . "New Stenographer," "Blind Man's Bluff," "The Hands of a. Wizard," and "Hypnotised." This evening the programme will include some special features appropriate to St, Patrick's night. ■
