A meeting of tho Gisborne Bowling Club's committee, was held on Monday, night, Mr W. J. Hennessy being m the' chair. The sub-vonunittee appointed to confer \yit%..Xhe, ,*Cu.V.aiiga,iiU!i Qlub re. junior match reportod having met , the representative of that club, and . it has beeh' decided- that the : Turanganai Chib' were to pick their team, from ' members who had not played .m representative matches this year; the Gisborne Club'tS team to be picked m a similar manner. —Tho report Mas coiilinried, and the matter of arrangement and picking of, teams left m hand of the sub-oomimittce previously- appointed.. It was decided that the committee should, pick skips for the Easter tourhaiinent, the. skips to reject their own .: teams. A ballot was
then taken for skips,' ; and Messrs Ponsford' and Simson were selected. Accounts amounting to, £45 were passed for payment.
