There were moderate seas this morning at Russell and East Cape,; increasing nt Castiepoirit, moderate at Cape Campbell, smooth at Port Chalmers, and heavy at Bluff. Cape Maria reported moderate, Capo Egmont moderate, Farewell Spit smooth, and Cope Fouhvind moderate. WEATHER FORECAST. The Government Meteorologist forecasted to-day : "Light and variable winds; indications for fair weather;! glass little movement; tides, good ; sea moderate."
