A young resident of Addington; employed m the raihvay department, and at present .acting-fireman on" the Rangit ora line, Avho has been experimenting with Hying machines, has constructed a model of an aeroplane. It has tAvo rows of small planes^ Avith 15; m each toav, and looked at from above or bcloAv it resembles a diamond shapo from -which the top. and bottom points-have been cut off, .leaving six sides: •: Thte; .young- v'-Cx-pcrimonter has selected, his model otiit bf six that, hevtripd. A AA-orkingniachine Avould bo driven by a 50 h.p, engine and Ayould have lavo propellors.
