The weekly .meeting of the Poverty Bay Hockey Associatum was held Just evening m the Roytd hotel. Mi- G. K. tasley presided. There was a largo . attendance of delegates. ( ' A letter was received fvoin Mr Bu^hnell m regard^ to the late, starting of matches, pointing out that if the fir§t match' was. not commenced at 2.15 sharp the . second game had to be finished m semi- darkness. A resolution was pnsfcecr, empowering the referee to .award \ the game by default should one team fail to oe "ready to. start at the appointed time.
