Tlie <-erenio'ny was performed by the Ke\ . W. Kaoburn, of Wairoa. Tht- bride, who was <;iven away by her father looked charming in a very pretty dress of cream Eolienne trimmed with cream silk and embroidered bice, Empire .stylo, with white silk hat tastefully trimmed with white ostrich feathers, and tarried a beautiful bouquet of white chrysanthemums nikl maiden hair ferns. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Misses Nellie and Ivy Richardson, dressed in pale green c-i-y---stalinc, daintily made with • tucked fronts, ' inlaid with lace, Empiro style, ; with hats to' match., Mr Willie Richardson was best man, and Messrs Russ'el' Johlin and Dencil Reynolds groomsmen. The bridegroohi's present to the bride was a gold brooch set with opals and diamonds, and to. tho bridesmaids' gold brooches se,t , with amethysts. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a silver motiiited shaving set. After tlie ceremony the large number of guests who had assembled despite the muddy 'roans, were.. entertained at a. reception" by the bride's parents; after which the newly wedded conp)e,left for their' future home, accompanied by the .good wishes of their friends and the usual shower of rice. The young couple^* were tho recipients of a. largo number- of useful and valuable presents. — Own correspondent.
