THE SUGGESTED AREA. At the meetinj held this afternoon regarding the question of taking tteps to prevent the spread of the rabuit pest into the Gisborne district, it Was decided to form a rabbit district comprising the -whole of the area from the Mohaka river across to^fcho Galatea stock track and from Motu to the sea near Ojiotiki ; also that County Councils within this area be communicated with to ascertain whether they would aroist. Tlie meeting was then adjourned for a fortnight.
