COOK-WAIKOHU BOUNDARY.

Intimation was given at to-day'^ meetiii«f of the Cook County Council that, a hitch had occurred in 'connection with tho arrangement of boundaries between Cook and Waikohu Counties, inasmuch a« that the boundary decided Upon by conference severed: the Aroha Road Board, which the clerk, stated avos not permissive by the law, it being required that the whole of the Road Board area must be either absorbed into Cook County or placed multer. the Waikohu County, and it could not come under the two counties. The matter would, therefore, have to be reconsidered.
