Smith, of Kaitaia, Aiv-as united m the bone* of holy matrimony to Madeline L^wfprd, eldest daughter of Mrs Hume Chancellor, of Lonidsn. 'ITie bride looked most charming m a^smart blue, travelling costume, with Avhite. felt hat, trimmed with blue. She Ayaa ; given away by Mr King Spencer, pf Tolaga Bay, and Mr Frunk Smith, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The Rev. .Long was the officiating clergyman. The; church was beauti fully decorated by friends of the bride. The guests were entertained/ at the residence of Mr Dunlop Smith to a sumptuous breakfast, and iri the evening a most enjoyable dance Avas giA'cn. The wedding presents were many and costly. Mr and Mrs Smith left by special conveyance the same afternoon for Tolagja Bay, en route for Rotorua. i
