GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL. SANITATION. NOTICE TO HOUSEHOLDERS AND OTHERS. GENERAL ICLEAN-UP. IN order to get the Town in a sanitary condition Householders and others are requested to observe and carry out the following ' suggestions : — 1. Keep Yards and Premises clean „• put all refuse in iron box, with proper lid, and see that % same 16 emptied Weekly. 2. Cultivate around premises, and put .'■ all slops and., waste- water -on newlv,-dug ground, being careful to avoid always throwing in same '• place. 3. Wage war of extermination against Flies. 4. Use carbolic; disinfectants or kerosene largely in closets or other places where flies collect. 5. , Make no holes or cesspits in the v * . ground for reception of rubbish or waste water, as this practice is • very objectionable.
