Native Minister,; it. has been ed that selected leaflets of the Department of Agriculture . shall be translated | into Maori and circulated in Maori districts. A. special pamphlet, scttingfortli the objects and resolutions of the De-i partineht, the purpose of the experimental farms/, and other .matters of terest to Maori farmers will also be prepared and issued in due course. It is understood that the leaflets for translation will be selected from time to time by the Maori members. Th*e super-.' iritendent of the Advances to Settlers Office has agreed to issue in Maori a pamphlet explaining the object of that office, and the business that Parliament has authorised it to transact.
