It was announced that the handsome shield made by Messrs ' Grundy and Shennan and Mr H. J. Grieve was completed. It was decided that a £1 levy be made on each Club m part payment for the shield, and tliat a letter of thanks be sent to the makers. Mr Bushnell was appointed referee m the match between West. End and * Kia Kaha. to-morrow afternoon. It was decided. to write to the Hawke's Bay Association, asking that a return representative match be played here on Saturday, the 12th inst.
