RUSSIA WANTS MONEY.
BIG LOAN BEING ARRANGED
EFFECT ON THE MARKET,
{Press Assn. — By Telegraph. — Copyright.) LONDON, June 11. The Stock Exchange expects a big Russian loan shortly,, to be raised chiefly in Paris, but partly in London.
■Consols are at 87 1-16. The higher class of securities are depressed owing to the apprehension that the AngloRussian entente will have an adverse effect on German sentiment, coupled with the reaction after the recent rise.
The Chronicle states that £4,500;000 sterling of bar gold is being sent, from London to ,St. Petersburg this week.
