THE WOOL SALE.
(Press Assn.—By Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received March 21, 12.12 p.m.) LONDON, March 20. On the fourth day of the wool sales the market was animated. Prices were unchanged. (Special to Herald.) NAPIER, this day. Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co.. have received the following cable from their London office : —"London, March 20.— The wool market is weak and irregular and shows a tendency downwards. A large quantity has been brought in. Compared with closing rates at last London sales merino superior and crossbred fine declined 10 per cent, merino coarse to medium and other descriptions 15 to 20 per cent." Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London office: "Frozen mutton: In general prices are higher by £d to per lb. Frozen beef and lamb prices are Grm, without change in prices."
