Advices have been received at AucklaiKbthat Messrs Bucknall Bros., of London, have withdrawn from the cargo steamship service between New Zealand and Canada, and their steamers,/the Pon. do and Bucentaur, have s been recalled to England. f — ;The service is now m the hands of the Den of Ogil Company, Ltd., under the management of Chas. Barrie and Sons, of Dundee, whose fleet consists of the Den of Airlie (5000 tons), Den of Crombie, Den of Kelly, Den of Manis, Den of Ogil (all 6000 tons), and Den of Ruthven (5000 tons). The , last-named steamer is now en route to Wellington, and- after loading there will proceed to^ Auckland, where she is expected on the 26th inst. She is timed to leave Auckland on the 28th for Vancouver, via Honolulu. The new service wimbe a monthly one, and the 1 steamers will leave Vancouver and Auckland on fixed dates.
