I -The first sale held under the auspices i of the Gisborhe Woolbrokers* .Association , , since the New Zealand Association has | deciddd to be represented at the sales at • Gisborne, takes place to-morrow at the Gisborne Farmers' Union room. The -wool, duly' [ catalogued, has been on view at the difI f event wool stores, and a goodi fepresen- | tation of buyers is , anticipated f rom < j north' and south. Some disappointment i has been caused through no English buyers arriving from south this morning, for it was expected that at least eight w6uld b e present at the sale. , Altogether nearly 1000 bales' will be offered besides a quantity of oddments, and a large number of skine. In consequence of the low prices reulised at Napier therq have been heavy withdrawals, otherwise the catalogue would 1 ' have been about twice as large. Messrs Dalgety and Co have the hirgest catalogue, which includes 410 bales wool, with the well knowa brands of Wairere, Tangamatai, Remuhau, A.S.M.,' Whakaroa, Rimuroa, A.L.8., and Moht* wai, also a quantity of oddments. They will also offer about 7<X) skins. t Messrs .Benentt and Sherratt will offer about 100 bales!, and 1000, skins, and! Messrs Common, Shelton and Co, Ltd., ' 200 bales and 1500 skins, their' prin^ ;> I cipal brands bein£ Wnihukft} C.C over I*'1 *' Arotaha, Teruantii, Tahora,' and Cf.L. | The New Zealand Loan and Mercani tile Agency Co., Ltd.'s catalogue includes about 90 bales, 86 pockets, 5 fodges, and; 18 bags wool of various qualities ajbjdi ' well known .brands. Messrs Williams and Kettle's catalogue ' comprises some 330 bales of wool, in r eluding J \V over T,'Horoika, Hokoroa;, Greenfields, Rototatu Koko, Kia Orai, West-ho, and other clips, and about 1900 skins and pelts, a quantity of dead woolL and several packages of tallow, and 12$ hides. • v
