(Per Press Association.) GORE, this day. The Gore Show, opened yesterday, when slieep and cattle and several minor sections were judged. Cattle were poor m point of numbers, tout the sheep were an exceptionally strong feature, numbers and quality also Ijeing well represented. In Border Leicesters A. Mundock secured tlie champion ram prize, and'McKerehar Bros, tlie clmmpion, ewe ; Border Leicester, McKerchaf Bros., ram and ewe; Romneys, W. J. Johnston and W. Rankin; Downs. W. J. Johnston; Merino, W. J. Johnston; Corriednle, Stringfellow Estate Executors ; cross-bred. Jas. Burnett. To-day the Hon. Mr McNab and Messrs W, Fraser and Malcolm. M.H.H.'s, will be present. INYERCARGILL, this day. The only problematical essential* to success of the summer show on Tuesday and Wednesday next is fine weather. Tiie number of entries from beyond InvercargiH far exceeds that of any former year, and exhibits will be present from numerous districts, including Christchurch. The Ministers for Lands and Lands and Labor have accepted an invitation to be present. Competition is expected to be very keen.
