Crusader won the Debra Derby, Umballa Derby, Desert Stakes, Asian Plate, Madras Derby, and many other races. After racing m India for five yeara, at all distances, under big weights, Crusader retired from the turf with an unbeaten record. Saracen is a blood bay, with black points, standing 15 hands 3 inches, with plenty of bone and substance. He is very quiet and good-tempered, and from the stoutness of his breeding his progeny are certain to be most valuable, either for hacks, huntersi or carriage horses.
