SUICIDE AT WHANGARA.
A tragedy was reported from Pakarae this afternoon. An elderly Nativ« named Arapeta (Herbert), from To Arai, who follows the occupation of carpenter, but was one of a. party of shearers now engaged m shearing the Whangara, clip, had some domestic difference with his wife last night, and< apparently took the matter so much to heart that he determined to end his life. During the morning the man was missed, and on search being made, for him, he was found hanging by the neck m his tent, life being extinct. The matter has been reported to the police, and an inquest will be held.
