SYDNEY, November 15. Mr Keir Hardie m a letter to Mr Wat; son, of the Federal Labor party,, states that owing to his extended visit to In-, dia he must curtail his /Australasian tour, as he wishes ta be back m time for the opening of the House] of Commons. : He will endeavor during his stay to see v as many Labor rrien as possible. Mr : Hardie adds: "The needs of India are great. .My presence or hbsence from Australia is a matter of small importance, - whereas by obtaining information concerning the people of India I may be ablo to do some service to. them on my return." (Received November 16, 8.43 a.m.) CEYLON. Nov. 15. Mr Keir Hardie called at Queen's House here. Sir Henry McjCallum, the Governor, was too busy to receive him.
