It is expected that the water supply will be again turned on this evening, sundry repairs along the main pipe line. which necessitated the cutting off oi the flow, having been effected. The uses to which the Waipori power is likely to be put (says a Dunedin paper) are many and various. Several factories m the city are now run by it, ard :.ne of the leading restaurants is arranging for the installation of some electric fans, a great boon m the hot weather. The latest intimation is that Messi-a A. Steven and Co. are negotiating, with the corporation for a supply of electricity as motive power for their Water'-of Leith flourmills.
