NEW YORK, Nov; 7. With respect to New York State county election, . the fact of Tammany defeating the Republican and Hearst fusion is considered notable, because Hearst attempted to attack the Irish vote, attacking, the London Times and indulging in Anglophobia in his papers. Mr Hearst's: prospects for the Presidency are considered'; extinguished. Nebraska gave £' Republican vote, which is a rebuke to Mr W.J. Byran, the Republican candidate for the Presidency. Kentucky -arid New Jersey States have gone Republican, s though New Jersey City remains Democrat. The Mormon Mayor of Salt' Lake City was defeated by his religious opponent. (Received Nov. 8, 6.50 a.m.) A great "landslide" .' or overwhelming vote was recorded in San Francisco in favor of Mayor, Taylor and the good government ticket.
