There was good weather- all over the Dominion to-day, north-east winds prevailing m the north, and a calm iv the far South. The warmest place avus Tauranga, with v point above Gisborne, the most northern station. Capo Maria Van Diemen being next, while Cliristchurch had the coolest record, 42 degrees. STATE OF THE SEA. There was a heavy swell at Russell and Kaipara. heavy yea at Castle point, increasing at New Plymouth, and -considerable on Greymouth bar with a moderate wind at Farewell Spit and Westport ; it was smooth at Hokianga, Manukau, Raglan, Gisborne, Napier,- Kaikoura. Timaru, Port Chalmers, Invercargill, and Bluff; and moderate at East Cape, Tiri-t-iri, and other stations. WEATHER FORECAST.
