, The remainder of the Alf held search party have returned after an exhaustive examination of the scrub for miles round the vicinity of the wreck. A body supposed to pc that of; the carpenter was iwashed up from the wreck, otherwise no trace could be found of the castaways. It is considered now there is no hope of [finding them alive^ but the search is ■being continued. . .
