TARUHERU v. TE RAU.

The above teams concluded the match m the championship cv-"* competitions, on the Taruheru wicket, on Saturday afternoon. Taruheru, who knocked up 73 last Saturday week, continued their second innings, but were altogether out of form. They played two men short. The highest score was made by Lasker, who scored eight, and the. other scores were one three two twos, and two ones, the total innings, with extras, being 19. Te Rau m their, first inninsrs had made- 58, ana required 35 m order to be victorious. Cary and Barnby scored 13 each, Olsen Z, Carroll 2, and Schofield 0. the latter two still batting when stumps were drawn.
