Another entertainment was given last night by the above company before a crowded audience, of which- a large proportion were ladies. The miniature steeplechase greatly amused the public. Mexican Bill gave some splendid illustrations: of lassoo work, liis masterpiece being making a crinoline with 75ft of rope. Mexican Bill's prowess as a horseman was also a very interesting part of the programme. Five local men, at the invitation of Mr E. -O'Neill rode some of the buekjumperjj, three of the number (Messrs D. Savage. A. Stevens, and J Parks) proving their abilities as horsemen. Sandow, the trained pony, greatly amused the audience by his clever antics Ruby, the celebrated high- jumping marej cleared the .fence at 6ft 4in. Sid. O'Neill gave a splendid exlubitron of horsemanship by riding one of the 'buckjumpers back to front. J. Kreuse, a boy, gave a very fine display by riding several notorious buckjumpers barebacked. Mr Ernie O'Neill, the proprietor of the company, is himself an expert and daring rider of unruly animals, and gave a splendid exhibition. The juveniles had another treat last evening with the ponies, and although some of the boys stuck on well, the cunning of the little animals generally brought about the downfall of their riders.
