Representatives of lending proprietary articles wanted Mr Collins, Commonwealth Agent-General, to protest against tho disclosure of their formulas. It appeared they will acquiesce to the prohibiton of any article which tho Government Bureau of Chemistry alter analysing reported contained injurious ingredients, provided the proprietor thereof is allowed an opportunity of remedying the complaint. Mr Collins remarked that the Government Bill did not compel disclosure. The deputation asked to be kept informed of the scope of the provisions and progress of the new Bill.
