FATE OF CASTAWAYS.

A message, received by pigeon post from the search party, reports tliev finding of the dead body of the captain of the Alfbeld on Golddiggers' Beach. (Received October 24, 8.16 a.m.) HOBART.'. October 24. The captain of the Alfheld had worked his way through almost impenetrable jungle in 'delirium, ' and\had fallen over ■ a small embankment. Ho cut his head, and was unable to rise. . He died from exhaustion, due to starvation. The weather was bitterly cold, and* the country flooded and rough at the scene of the wreck.
