A lady has sent the Liverpool Post an envelope and ; letter brought back to her house tlirough the returned letter branch of the Post Office. The envelope borne a childish scrawl m lead ..pencil which ran : "To the dear God m i ! .a--ven," and the Post Office, quaintly stamped it "Insufficiently addressed,' arid returned it. Inside, ov a tiny slip, was written: T'Dear God, please make mother better ; she is M rs -, of Hu .- kisson street." . .Mrs had been unwell, and her daughter, aged 6, unknown to anyone • else,, wrote, and posted this touching little prayer. ■
