The Union S.S. Co.'s s.s. Waikare arrives from Southern ports early to-inor-rojv morning, and proceeds to Auckland and Sydney; last boat 10 a.m. . Ihe s.s! Ruru is expected from Napier to-morrow morning. The Union S.S. Co.'s s.s. Squall left Auckland lust evening for Tolaga Bay, Napier, and Gisborne. Owing to the steamer having a, quantity of Liidge material for Gisborne stowed at the i,uttom of the hold, she is under orders to proceed t 0 Napier before .oming here. The Union Co.'s s.s. Haupiri atrived at Auckland at 5.30 last ev.niug, and leaves again, for Coast bays and Gisborne on Tuesday. lhe Union Co.'s s.s. Kotuku leaves Westport to-day with a cargo of coal for Nelson Bros.' Tariiheru works. She is due here on Monday. The Union Co.'s collier Kuiapoi is nowdue from Newcastle with a cargo of coal. The Union Co.'s s.s. Moana will tak. up the Miowera's June running to Vancouver. ... Captain J. A. Gregory has assumed command of the s.s. i_qualj,.in place of Captain Brown, who proceeds to Dunediu for orders.

The scow Waikonini, which left yesterday for Auckland, was compelled to put back last night owing to the prevailing westerly gale. Sha returned to an; unchorage in the bay at 4 o'clock this morning. The schooner Gisborne (Captain Pankow).is leaving Auckland to-day .with a full cargo for Mackrell and CoLey.
