Tlie Union Co.'s s.s. Mokoia (Captain Smith) arrived from Southern ports this morning and sailed for Auckland and Sydney about noon. Passengers : — inward : Misses Reynolds (2), Kelly, Puti, Olive, Patchepa, Puna, Mitchell, Mesdames Chrisp Penkey and child, Palmer and child, McGregor, Guntraton, Cork, Laird, Burgess, Johnson, Dunlop, Francis and child, Marshall, Redward, Matthews, Messrs Allan, Bannister, Adair, Coull, Stitt, Hanna Morice, Palmer, Cumming, Troup, Webb, Thomson, Cork and 2 sons, Stanton, Bright, Dustin, Bideawx, Reade, Brown, Coleman, Broughton, Steele, Pratt, Lyndon, Redward Matthews, Watson, Norton, Pickering, Peters, Robinson, Watt, Craven, and Dr. Pomare. Outward : Misses Gillard, Stevens, Knight, Jones, Mesdames Smith, Murphy, Knight, Roberts, Seymour and child, Jones, Messrs Fraser, Boys, Foster, Culpan, Oxenham, Dewing, Allanson, Elworth, Ormond, Campbell, White, Angove, Long, Master Seymour. The s.s. Putiki arrives to-morrow from Wanganui with a further cargo of spiral steel pipes. The Union Co.'s s.s. Talune arrives from Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and sails for South m the evening. The lust launch leaves at 5 o'clock. The N.Z. Shipping Company's s's. Paparoa arrived at Wellington at 10 a.m. to-day. The barquentine lima (Capt. Schutz), from Newcastle, arrived at 11 o'clock this morning. Tlie captain reports leaving Newcastle on Saturday, 10th inst., with S. to S.E. winds, which brought the vessel into New Zealand waters. Cape Maria Van Diemen was passed on tlie 17th, and S.E., E., and N.E. winds prevailed down as far as East Cape, which was passed on the 22nd. From East Cape until arrival calms were experienced Cargo consists of 125 girders. 70 piles, 10 10 tons oxide, and 220 tons coal. The barquentine Hazel Craig sails tomorrow for Kaipara to load timber for Melbourne.
