Ngakonin clip sold at 13Jd, Okaja. 13M. At the tallow sales 1073 casks were offered and 625 sold. Prices are- unchanged. NAPIER, this day. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company cable :. The frozen meat market is still depressed, and' there is a further fall m. values. Mutton : Canterbury 3jjd, Napier, .Wellington and North Island 3gd. Lamb: First quality 4£d, second 4id. Beef : hinds Sgdj fores 2|d. (Special to Herald.) Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co. have received the following cablegram, from their Lonuou house, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co. : — London. May 23rd. •Tire sales have closed .with prices irregular. There were held over 9000 bales of wool. Compared with tho opening rates, prices are hardy 'maintained. Scoured merino, 1 good to extra good, advanced a shade; greasy crocsc-red, coarse, the market declined five per cent.
