Percival, the present Mayor, was the onl}' one nominated for the Mayoralty for the furthcoming year. ' DANNEVIRKE,. this day. The present Mayor, Mr Patterson, and ex-Mayor Mr Rees, have been nominated for the Mayoralty. OAMARU, this day. Mr Robei. Milligun was re-elected unopposed,,for the second term as Mayor. During the past year there has been a lai'ge increase in the valuation. The Mayor anticipates there is no difficulty whatever in store for the borough on account of proliibifcioii, as the increase in revenue more than eompens.itcs for the loss of license fees.
