Gisborne passengers inward : Misses Manisty, Aelson, O'Kourke, Barrow, Jfuliett, Morgan, White, Birrell, Cooper, Mathieson, Anderson, Poswillo 12), Scott, Pilcher, Fisher } Mesdames Stringer and boy, Monk, Lound, Cooper, Brooking, Kennedy and child, Sehwabe and three children, Mulbani and two children, Rice, .Nicholson, and five cliildren ; Messrs Allen, \\ ood, Eiby^ Cameron, Hall, .Nicholas, Quigley, Williams, Kennedy, Ott, Sylvester, Gordon, Milburn, Carhill, Druuimond, Rice, Jones (2), Gardiner, Hunter, Adams, >Liohtwark, Kanobe, Scott, Mumby, Coleman, Louie, Vizey; Masters Skeet and Boardman. The Gisborne Sheepfarmers' s.s. Shirley Hasell (Capt. Scott) returned from Pakarae at 8 o'clock last evening, with a cargo of 400 bales of wool. The steamer leaves for Tolaga Bay and Auckland on Monday. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.'s b.s. Karamea leaves Wellington to-morrow for Napier, and is due at Gisborne on Tuesday morning, to load wool and frozen meat for the London market. The Union Oo.'e s.s. Haupiri was at Port Awanui yesterday, and at Tuparoa and Waipiro to-day. The steamer calls at- Tokomaru and Tolaga to-morrow morning, and arrives here m the afternoon, proceeding to Napier and Wellington the same evening. The Union S.S. Company's s.s. Waikare arrives from Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and proceeds to southern ports the same evening, last boat at 5. The Tyser Line's s.s. Marere arrives from Wanganu! on February 1, to load ior London. The ketch Sir Henry sailed for Auckland early this morning. The old passenger steamer Ringarooma which was trading for the Union Co. 25 years ago, is now named Geiho Maru, and is owned by T. Hashimoto, of Osaka, Japan. The Ringarooma was bought from the Union Co. a few years ago by the late Herr Kunst, and re-named the Samoa. She was built 30 years ago by Wingate and Co., of Glasgow, and has now been re-engined by the Kowaski Co., of Kobe.
