WHATAUPOKO ROAD BOARD. IT is hereby notified that it is tho intention of the above-named Board, at a Meeting to be held on the seventh day of November, 1905, to strike a General Rate of Five Farthings m the £ m terms of Section 37 of "Tlie Rating Act, 1894," and Section 114 of "Tine Road Boards Act, 1882," the said rate to be on tlie capital value of all rateable property within the Whataupoko Road District, for the period of one year, from the first of April, 1905, to the 31st of March, 1906, and to be due and payable m one sum on the 21st November, 1905, at the Office of the Board, Gladstone , road, Gisborne. It is also notified that the following Special Rites m the respective Special Districts liereunder mentioned, to pro> vide interest on Loans under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," will be .payable for the same period : — # (2.) Mangapapa Special District — One Penny m the £. (5.) Upper Fox Street Special District — Three Halfpence m the £. The Rate Book is open for inspection at the Office of the Board during office hours.
