Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, last night. The half-oast. Stott, arrested on suspicion of being concerned m the murder of Ham Sing long, at Tapanud, was brought before the Court to-day and remanded. He was brought mto Dunedin far safe keeping. Stott haft been m tlie district for four years, working as a carpenter and at various odd jobs. Ho is believed to have been at one time a black tracker. Late tliis afternoon a youth of 16 or 17 years, supposed to be m some way connected with the crime, was airested, and it is believed further arrests will follow.
