STRANDED STEAMERS.

It 'host been found that the cost of floating the .steamer Australia will be greater than building a new vessel, and probably the attempt will be abandoned. It is stated that tlie purc'liasing syndicate has already, cleared £4000. FREMANTLE. March 7. The wreck of the s.s. Orizaba has been sold for £3750, and the balance of the cargo for £500. The ketch Alice, supposed to have been wrecked, has reached port safely.
