(Received December 10, 7.46 a.m.) NEW YORK, December 9. Mr T. W. Lawson, the well-known New York stockbroker, headed a "bear" raid on certain trusts, especially the Amalgamated Copper and United! Steel Trusts. A wild! speculative excitement m Wall street followed, with a heavy slump m shares, but a partial recovery has since taken place.
